Spartan Grain Demolition Begins

One of the last vestiges of downtown Spartanburg’s industrial heritage came rumbling down Monday, clearing the way for potential development in the emerging arts and entertainment district west of Morgan Square recently coined the Grain District.

CSI has been awarded a contract for demolition of several buildings on Main St. in downtown Greenville, SC. Wrecking will begin in the first week of December, with anticipated completion in February. All antique brick and wood beams will be salvaged and re-used for specialty building materials. All remaining metal, as well as, masonry and concrete will be recycled.

Archdale Eyesore

CSI has been awarded a contract for demolition of a 70,000+ square ft., abandoned hotel complex in Charlotte, NC. The buildings are located on Archdale Drive., right off of I-77.

The project will begin in October, and is scheduled for completion by mid November.

This is the first step in development of an 11 acre mixed use project that will include:

A 350 unit town home / apartment project
28,000 square ft. of office space
A 108 room all suites hotel
40,000 square ft. of retail
